The AT-401B is a 400 gallon workhorse powered by the Pratt & Whitney R-1340 radial engine. It incorporates all the rugged durability, safety features, and flying ease that Air Tractors are known for with the low price tag of a piston engine plane. The AT-402A is a lower cost turbine ag-plane, ideal for first-time turbine owners. It has superb handling characteristics that make it a joy to fly and the productivity that makes profits. This 400 gallon AT-402B turbine utilizes the 680 horsepower PT6A-15AG engine for extra performance and heavier loads.
The 500 gallon AT-502 series have been the most popular Air Tractor model, with over 400 planes sold. As with all Air Tractors, it is designed and manufactured to assure operators of a high level of productivity and low maintenance.
The AT-602 is designed for operators who need more than 500 gallons, but less than the 800 gallon AT-802. It only takes one load to spray a 125 acre circle at 5 gallons per acre, and ferry times are shortened by the powerful PT6A-60AG engine. It's the perfect match of hopper capacity to engine performance, and it allows operators to go from a multi-plane to single plane operation for lower overhead and increased profits. The AT-802 series is the world's largest single engine aircraft, and its popularity reflects the industry's trend to larger high-production turbine equipment. Whether it's used for fertilizing forests, spraying huge cotton fields, or spraying dispersant on oil spills, this plane has the productivity and performance to get big jobs done efficiently.
Reflecting state-of-the-art technology in computerized fire gate controls, the AT-802F is an ideal initial attack fire fighter with the ability to get to fires quickly and the maneuverability to put them out accurately and efficiently.
